Hi, I’m Kimberly — welcome to Off The Clock.
By day (and night, and every other shift in between), I’m a pediatric nurse. I’ve spent nearly two decades at the bedside, including years as a charge nurse, and I love the work — caring for people is something I’ll never regret choosing to do with my life.
But I’m more than my job title. I’m a wife, a mom of two teenage daughters, and most days, a tired introvert just trying to keep up with the energy of my own house. We’ve got a new puppy still figuring out her manners, a borrowed neighbor dog who’s decided he lives with us now, and a husband who never met a hobby he didn’t try at least once.
This blog is where I get to be all of it — not just “the nurse.” You’ll find posts about:
